Erika Girardi buys all of her own designer clothes

It’s XXXPEN$IVE to be Erika Jayne — and Erika Girardi.

The Real Housewife of Beverly Hills, 47, sings about her flashy lifestyle on stage as alter ego Erika Jayne, and her taste is just as extravagant in real life. According to Girardi’s stylist Dani Michelle, the reality star-turned-pop diva spares no expense when it comes to her wardrobe.

“Erika has a wide range of style within her personal taste; Sometimes it’s sexy and showgirl, sometimes strong and sleek, and other times its comfortable luxe sportswear,” Michelle, who also works with Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kristin Cavallari, told Page Six Style.

And while Girardi has no problem getting fashion houses to lend her their looks, she typically puts clothes on her own tab. “Erika buys! Of course designers loan if theres something she wants to borrow, but she owns her looks,” Michelle confirmed.

The Housewife, who is married to famed attorney Tom Girardi, has never been shy about spending. In fact, she has said that it costs $40,000 a month to keep up with the whole production of being Erika Jayne.

“Listen, this is a lifestyle. I don’t recommend it to anyone, it’s just what I do and it’s a lot,” she said last year. “It’s a lot of upkeep. It’s a lot of time. It’s a lot of money. You wanna look good? S—t costs money and takes time. It just does.”

Known for her over-the-top beauty looks and outfits on “RHOBH” — fans will remember her designer tracksuits in Dubai, oversized hair and glittering accessories in confessionals and barely-there concert ensembles — it’s no wonder that Girardi is a true student of fashion.

“The best part about working with Erika is the never-ending excitement for fashion,” Michelle said. “With her, every look is a chance to create a whole image and execute her vision for the the garment. When Erika commits to a look, she references it to an old Hollywood actress or icon, and it makes them not just pieces of clothes, but a moment and expression.”

Naturally, Girardi counts Tom Ford, Alexander McQueen, Versace, Moschino and Alexander Wang as some of Girardi’s favorite designers — and the star can’t live without five-inch-high Christian Louboutin heels.
