Hair trends come and go, but the humble bob has never really gone out of style. That said, the chic hairdo really is having a particularly big moment this summer, as celeb after celeb has stepped out with a blunt chop.
Take former The Only Way Is Essex star Ferne McCann, who has been enjoying her summer holidays while sporting a stylish sharp long bob, in a gorgeous multidimensional and sunkissed brunette colour.
The 32 year old has been shying away from extensions of late and sticking to her natural lengths, sharing several snaps from her trip to her Instagram grid in which she can be seen sporting the fresh style – and it’s safe to say that her fans are loving her summertime look.
"Love your hair darker and shorter!" one commented on a Reel of Ferne’s, as another wrote, "Have a fabulous time it looks amazing, your hair looks beautiful."
"Love the colour," a third said of the star’s new hair, as a fourth gushed, "You look beautiful.”
Another star to jump on the bandwagon with her own longer take on the bob this month is presenter and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2018 star Emily Atack, with a style that could be straight out of the sixties – a perfectly flicked sleek long bob.
Taking to Instagram Stories, the star shared a behind the scenes look at the shoulder-skimming style that had the perfectly curved ends, looking like some kind of fashion icon from the decade of rock and roll.
However, as on-trend and chic as this style was, it didn’t hang around for too long. Emily was soon sporting lengthy blonde hair that Barbie would envy, sharing a look at her new ‘do in an Instagram ad post with New Look and describing it as a “dream hairdo”.
So many celebrity hair changes, so little time! We can hardly keep up.
