ART can turn a house into a home — and it doesn’t need to be pricey.

If you have got a bare wall or want to inject some character into your living space, here are ways to create a masterpiece, or two, on a budget.

But you can experiment with fonts and words to create a bespoke piece of slogan art that can simply be printed at home, use thick paper for a better effect.

YOU’VE BEEN FRAMED: Once you have found your piece of art, head to Wilko for a large selection of frames starting from £1.50.

Buy two or three similar frames to create a feature look.

Charity shops are also a great place to find frames.
