Frankie & Bennys will give free Christmas meals to people in need this winter

Popular restaurant chain Frankie & Benny’s launched its Christmas menu with a twist this year.

For every turkey dinner sold, the company pledged to donate a festive meal to someone in need.

This year more than ever so many people and families will struggle to put a meal on the table, because of the crippling cost of living crisis.

To try and do its bit to help Frankie & Benny’s decided to launch its Christmas menu while thinking about what they could do to make a difference.

The restaurant launched its Christmas campaign in partnership with Feeding Britain – an award winning charity with a vision of a UK where no one goes hungry.

Now it's been confirmed that for every Yuletide Stuffed Turkey dinner bought, the team will donate a festive meal to a person in need.

As you tuck into your Christmas meal with friends, family or work colleagues you'll know that your meal has led to helping someone less fortunate.

The Yuletide Stuffed Turkey with apple and cranberries is served with carrot batons, broccolini, spring onion mash, crispy parsnip, gravy and crisp bacon.

It comes in at the price of £16.90.

For just £1 Feeding Britain can provide a meal for those whose need is great, so for every Yuletide Stuffed Turkey dinner sold Frankie & Benny’s will donate £1 to Feeding Britain.

Sasha Storey, Frankie & Benny’s Head of Brand, said: "Frankie & Benny’s is a restaurant brand with families at its core, so it’s really important for us that we support other families in need at this time of year.

"The cost of living crisis will be hard for so many, and we must remember to try to help others now and in the future as best we can."

Feeding Britain is a charity that supports a national network of 60 regional anti-hunger partnerships comprising more than 600 local organisations – ranging from community centres and schools, to local authorities and social enterprises.

Andrew Forsey, National Director of Feeding Britain, added: "The generosity being shown by Frankie & Benny’s and their customers through this partnership with Feeding Britain makes a hugely significant difference to our work.

"With growing numbers of people relying on our help to put food on the table, this partnership is absolutely crucial to supporting our mission to tackle food poverty in the UK. We are enormously grateful."

Frankie & Benny's said it's proud to help Feeding Britain, and support their amazing work in communities up and down the UK.

The restaurant's Christmas Menu will be available from November 8 to January 3.
