All eyes were on the pitch as France took on Denmark at the World Cup, but that didn’t stop their wives and girlfriends from turning up the glamour in the stands.
French WAGs faced off against Danish supporters in the style stakes as the two teams met in their first round tie at the Luzhniki Stadium, in Moscow on Tuesday.
Among their number was Miami-based model Maria Salaues, girlfriend of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, and Camille Tytgat, wife of defender Raphael Varane.

France’s forward Antoine Griezmann’s wife, Erika Choperena, broke with the trend of wearing team t-shirts and instead opted for a trendy black blazer with statement shoulders.
It was a family affair for some with Salaues, who is originally from Bolivia, joining Pogba’s mother Weo in the stands.
Despite the high-pressure environment the women looked relaxed as they took their seats.
While Denmark’s WAGs kept a lower profile the players still enjoyed the support of some very excited female fans.

She was spotted blowing kisses to the cameras and to the players as they warmed up on the pitch ahead of the match.
France has already secured a place in the final 16 after their 1-0 victory against Peru in Ekaterinburg.
However Denmark will need to at least tie to join them in the knockout stages.

While England are focusing on their next World Cup match, their wives and girlfriends are caught up in their own competition off the pitch.
Rebekah Vardy and co have found themselves up against football’s most glamorous WAGs in the tournament’s style stakes.
From Mexico to Iceland, each team is being cheered on by models, singers and social media stars who have jetted into Russia to support their men.
Crowd favourite Iceland is being cheered on by former Miss Iceland contestant Alexandre Ivarsdottir – one half of the nation’s answer to Posh and Becks – while Brazilian reality TV star and singer Carol Cabrino has been snapped waving the flag for her husband Marquinhos.
And while their husbands are busy training, the women have found time to shop, sight-see and indulge in some rather expensive-looking meals.
Fortunately for us, they also document every minute of their off-pitch style campaign on Instagram…

However she still regularly shares posts on her account, including recent images over an enormous bouquet gifted to her by her romantic husband.
The ex-dancer also appears on TV and has given on-screen interviews during the first two World Cup ties.
There were concerns over Yerokhin’s fitness ahead of the tournament however he has made the squad.

Brazilian singer and reality TV star Carol Cabrino tied the knot with PSG defender Marquinhos, 24, in June 2016.
The couple became engaged in May 2015 after Marquinhos popped the question underneath the Eiffel Tower.
They welcomed their first child together, a daughter, in November last year after Carol went into early labour while watching Marquinhos playing a Champions League match against Anderlecht at the Parc des Princes.
The whole family has made the journey to Russia, with Carol sharing photos of her and her daughter sitting poolside while her husband trains.

Social media influencer Maja married Manchester United defender Lindelof in Sweden last month.

She came under fire from some United fans when she hit out at bosses over the ‘disgusting’ cost of executive boxes at Old Trafford.

The mother-of-four, who married Leicester City star Jamie in 2016, has been spotted in the stands cheering in an England shirt and waving a flag.
The former I’m A Celebrity contestant is a full-blown social media star with 340,000 Instagram followers and has been posting updates about her trip.
Georgina Rodriguez, dating Cristiano Ronaldo

Georgina, who only recently arrived in Russia, is said to have caught Cristiano Ronaldo’s eye in the VIP section of a Dolce & Gabbana party.
It is said that they dated in secret for a few months, before going public with their romance by enjoying a date at Disneyland Paris.
The couple then first stepped out together publicly at the beginning of 2017 year, when they attended the FIFA Football Awards in Zurich.
Their romance went from strength to strength and the pair welcomed a daughter Alana after a year of dating.
