Harry Potter fans will remember the familiar face of Jamie Waylett who played Vincent Crabbe famously known for being one of Draco Malfoy's sidekicks.
Actor Jamie played the role of Crabbe, the son of a Death Eater and a member of Slytherin House at Hogwarts from 2001 to 2009, alongside Gregory Goyle who formed the fierce trio with Draco who often tormented Harry Potter.
After the sixth film fans were left confused when Crabbe disappeared from the final two instalments despite remaining an essential character in J.K. Rowling's books.
He was let go from the films after he was arrested in April 2009 for drug-related offences after the police found eight bags of cannabis in his car, further investigation revealed he was growing the drug at his mother's residence in north-west London.
He was subsequently found guilty and sentenced to 120 hours of community service.
But this wasn't his only run-in with the law as two years later during the London riots, Jamie was arrested again and convicted of violent disorder, receiving a two-year jail sentence.
Following his prison stint the actor has turned a corner and has given fans a rare glimpse inside his life on the popular celebrity website, Cameo.
The last time many fans saw Jamie was on the big screen in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince but he now looks unrecognisable, donning a long beard and three small stars tattooed above his eyebrow.
Speaking on his page, the actor said: "What's going on people, it's your boy Jamie Waylett.
"I played Vincent Crabbe in the Harry Potter movies one to six and I'm very excited to have the opportunity to give the people and loved ones in your life that you care about a special message.
"That's it from me, I look forward to hearing from you. Slytherin for life."
His fans were left delighted with the interaction and left a series of positive reviews.
One read: "I've been having great fun at Cameo this passed year. Received some great responses, though one of my most favourites gotta be from Jamie Waylett. Seems like such an incredibly great and kind guy. He played Vincent Crabbe in Harry Potter."
Harry Potter fans were sent into a frenzy earlier this year after Netflix UK finally added all eight films to the streaming platform.
The series of movies were first released all the way back in 2001 and spanned across 10 years with the final instalment – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 being released in 2011.
It starred big names such as Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint and became one of the most successful film franchises of all time.
