Home Alone will always be regarded as one of the most iconic Christmas films in existence. There's not a household anywhere that doesn't cosy up on the sofa to watch the classic film at least once during the festive period, whether it be on Christmas Eve night or Boxing Day afternoon when you're tucking into leftovers and reminiscing on the previous day.

The fact that Home Alone holds such a special place in so many families' hearts means that Macaulay Culkin, who played the loveable lead Kevin McCallister, lives rent free in our Christmas memories, too.

What are Macaulay's other acting credits?

Because Home Alone was such a huge success, many people forget that Macaulay, 43, has a string of other acting credits to his name.

From the 90s films Getting Even with Dad, The Pagemaster and Richie Rich, Macaulay took an almost decade hiatus before returning to acting.

He appeared in independent and experimental films during the 2000s and 2010s before starring in the 2019 film Changeland, where he met his future partner.

But it was Macaulay's performance in the 10th season of American Horror Story that catapulted him back to major stardom.

Then, in 2023, Macaulay received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where he was joined by his Home Alone co star Catherine O'Hara and his Party Monster co star Natasha Lyonne. Both made speeches in his honour.

What did Macaulay change his name to?

In 2018, Macaulay launched a comedy pop culture website called Bunny Ear that satirised other celeb owned websites. On his site, he held a contest in which people could vote for his new middle name – the choices were between Macaulay Culkin, Kieran, TheMcRibIsBack, Publicity Stunt, and Shark Week.

After receiving a staggering 61,000 votes, the 43 year old legally changed his name from Macaulay Carson Culkin to Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin.

Who is Macaulay's famous partner?

It's widely known that Macaulay dated A list actor Mila Kunis for around eight years, before the two called it quits for good in 2011.

While Mila is now married with two kids to fellow actor Ashton Kutcher, Macaulay also found love again. This time, with his Changeland co star and former Disney star, Brenda Song.

The pair reportedly started dating in 2018, and in January 2021, they welcomed their first child together, a son called Dakota. Macaulay and Brenda chose this name as a tribute to his older sister, Dakota, who tragically died in 2008 after being hit by a car.

Then, in December 2022, Brenda gave birth to their second son, Carson.

Carson used to be Macaulay's middle name before he legally changed it.
