Homebase are selling 6ft high Christmas trees for just £12 after slashing prices to undercut Lidl

The natural dark green Needlelast Nordman Fir trees are grown with sustainable measures in the Scottish Highlands.

The individually unique trees which boast a "wonderful fresh scent" were originally sold for £35.

Last week Lidl slashed their asking price to £16.99 for pot grown trees, and £19.99 for the fresh cut option.

Describing the trees, Homebase: "Each tree is unique and will naturally vary in appearance.

"It features soft, dark green needles and has a wonderful fresh scent which will bring authentic festive spirit into your home."

And bargain hunters will be glad to know the tree can be saved for Christmas 2019.

Homebase says it can be planted into your garden, or kept outside in a pot.

The trees on offer will range in height from 5.4ft to an astonishing 7ft.

But stocks are limited, so you may not be able to get yours delivered to your home.

Homebase is also offering 20 per cent off all Christmas lights to decorate your tree.
