From Aries through to Pisces, here's what today could bring for your horoscope – and what you can do to be prepared.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

You could do with something out of the ordinary and exciting. Don’t expect to get much help or support from others. Colleagues will feel they have enough to do without taking on any more and the demands that start to come your way will be aimed at preventing you from acting on your more adventurous ideas.

Taurus (Apr 21 – May 21)

You won’t have expected to have been able to help someone in the way you do. You have done so much for them and they will want to show their gratitude. You have every right to feel proud of your accomplishments. They do mean it when they say they could never have managed without you.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21)

You are about to discover something about a close friend or partner that you hadn’t known about before. This will not be anything devious. Just something that will be quite amusing and which might even put a new and exciting slant on your relationship.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23)

This is a wonderful time to plan a big family, festive reunion. You will get a lot of pleasure planning menus and venues. Hosting a big event for relatives and friends will bring out the best in you. Happy relationships are going to make all areas of your life feel more balanced.

Leo (July 24 – Aug 23)

A creative ability or special skill you have that you have been keeping to yourself will be brought out into the open. A new work assignment or community project will provide you with the ideal opportunity to make fuller use of your talents. Don’t let it pass you by.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sept 23)

Life is brisk. Forward-looking friends and colleagues will be keeping the atmosphere lively. Lots of ideas are being discussed and you might find yourself anticipating events and wondering how you really feel about possible changes to come.

Libra (Sept 24 – Oct 23)

A friend or colleague will be talking about turning a hobby into a money making venture. This could get you thinking about doing something similar yourself or you might join forces when two heads will be better than one. A joint project will bestow great fortune upon you.

Scorpio (Oct 24 – Nov 22)

Be wary about what a confident, well-dressed professional tells you. They may not be as honest or as accomplished as they first appear. Trust your instincts when dealing with strangers. Important facts are being withheld. Refuse to allow anyone to manipulate you.

Sagittarius (Nov 23 – Dec 21)

You’re too restless to settle for anything routine. You will want to find out what everyone else is planning and getting up to and whether there are any festive plans in the pipeline. You won’t be able to join in with everything but you do want to at least be given a choice.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 20)

Your relationship with a colleague or someone in a position of authority will be giving you cause for concern. Are you being expected to do too much while others have less of their own to do? If there is some unfairness going on, it is only right that you should draw attention to this situation.

Aquarius (Jan 21 – Feb 19)

Be careful about how much you reveal about yourself and your future plans at a festive gathering. It isn’t a good idea to let too many people in on your thoughts and intentions. There is someone who will use this knowledge to their advantage.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)

Team efforts go well. It doesn’t matter how difficult the job you are working on might be, a light-hearted atmosphere prevails. There will be as much enjoyment from the company around you as there is from the work or project you are all involved with.
