Emmerdale star Danny Miller has given a peek inside his welcome home pub party after winning I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.
The 30 year old, who recently isolated after his fiancée Steph Jones tested positive for coronavirus following his stint in the Castle, shared a look inside his postponed welcome home party at The Buxton Inn in Hyde, Tameside.
Danny beamed as he posed alongside Steph in the pub in front of a TV screen displaying a snap of the actor in ITV's Gwrych Castle, Wales, which read: "Congratulations from all at The Buxton Inn. To our local lad Danny Miller 'King of the Castle' in 2021 I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
The new dad, who shares eight week old Albert with Steph, shared the snap to his 689,000 Instagram followers, captioned: "So @stephjones1710 and the family organised a welcome home party we finally got round to tonight at our good friends pub @thebuxtoninngx and I couldn’t be happier!
"Thanks once again to everyone who made this happen!! All the love from me and mine."
Meanwhile the pub landlords had one last trial for Danny to remind him of his time in the Castle as the presented him with the 'drip tray challenge' which appeared to be excess beer that had gone stale.
Danny passed the challenge as he downed the pint while his family and friends cheered him on from around the bar.
Meanwhile Steph also gave a peek inside the decorations in the pub which included bunting of the Welsh flag as a node to the Castle setting.
We can also see an inflatable snake along with various plants to remind Danny of his time surrounded by the Castle critters.
Danny and Steph, who works as a midwife, first originally met at school and had a sweet romance, but later went their separate ways. They later reconnected and began dating again in 2019, with Danny proposing to Steph on a romantic trip to St Lucia for his 30th birthday celebrations in January 2021.
The couple welcomed baby Albert in October 2021, just weeks before Danny was due to head to the I’m A Celeb castle.
Posting a snap of the baby’s hand a few days after the birth, Steph wrote: “I was lucky enough to find someone who shines bright enough to lead me out of the dark, but I never imagined to be led to the brightest place imaginable, my baby.
“I never realised the happiness a child brings you. Thank you @danny_b_miller for showing me true happiness and being the best support imaginable.”
