Coat was founded in 2020 by friends Rob Abrahams and Rob Green after they noticed a lack of environmentally friendly paint options on the market.

WHY SHOULD I BUY?

Owing to its chemical content paint isn’t accepted at many UK recycling centres, so around 98 per cent of paint waste – 55 million litres each year – goes to landfill, while 14,000 tonnes of paint tins are also thrown away because of their non-recyclable materials.

Apart from the higher price tag compared to other high-street paint brands, there isn’t one. It is colour with a conscience.
