This optical illusion has left people on the web scratching their heads as they are struggling to figure out what’s going on in the ‘crazy’ image. 

The puzzling photo was first shared by @TheMuffReport on Instagram – where social media users flooded the comments section desperately trying to decipher the ‘confusing’ snap. 

People couldn’t get over the staggering amount of time it took their brains to see what was going on in the image, which features a dog wearing a harness.

The snap, which has so far amassed over 6,222 likes, was captioned: ‘Why did it take my brain so long to figure out what was going on in this picture?’

On first glance, many people on the web claimed they saw a ‘creepy dog’ whose face is turned to the side.

Many people couldn’t quite figure out what was going on with the pet – questioning if he was facing straight, sideways, or if there was something wrong with him. 

However, the key to getting to the bottom to the optical illusion is looking at the image from a different angle. 

If you are looking at the image from your phone, turn it upside down to decipher what was going on in the snap. 

After turning your phone to the right, begin by focusing your eyes on the dog’s harness. 

Then, you will be to see that the dog just had his back arched and its head turned to the side. 

Because his face was turned, many people thought that one of the dog’s eye was in a different location, however, it was just a part of its mouth.
