DEAR DEIDRE: I’VE been scammed by women I’ve tried to date through a particular site, so why can’t I resist logging on?
I’m a single man of 32 and I have never had a relationship.
I met a woman online who said she was 31. She lived miles away but I arranged to see her.
She called me saying, “Don’t come” but I was halfway there.
Nobody answered when I knocked on the door so I left a note but a man later called me saying nobody of that name lived there.
Soon after my bank account was hacked and I lost £1,000.
The bank traced the hacker back to the same town where this woman was. I knew it was her.
Now I can’t stop going on this site even though I know I might get scammed again.
I have been asked for money and food.
I’ve just bought one of the women a £200 gift card.

DEIDRE SAYS: Your urge to be with a woman in control may stem back to early childhood where your mother was the matriarch, and only a dominating relationship with a woman feels normal to you.
These people are preying on your vulnerability but there are plenty of women out there who want kind and genuine relationships.
