Since 2014, retired rugby player James Haskell has been in a relationship with Chloe Madeley, with the pair tying the knot in a festive winter wedding in 2018.

During their nine years together, the couple have also welcomed their first child, a daughter called Bodhi.

But in terms of James' love life before he got hitched to TV duo Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan's daughter, who has the former England rugby union player been linked to?

From Kelly Brook to Helen Skelton, here's everything we know about James BC (before Chloe)…

Kelly Brook

In 2013, Kelly Brook was spotted at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel with a then 28 year old James, as they both attended the Boodles Boxing Ball.

At the time, it was revealed that James had leaned in for a kiss but Kelly had pulled away. However, it was reported that they did exchange numbers that night.

A source told The Mirror shortly after: "The pair of them have spoken several times this week. The plan now is for some discreet dates. It’s early days, but she thinks he’s really handsome."

However, following the dating rumours, Kelly was quick to label it "fictitious nonsense."

The two were then photographed the following spring strolling in sunny LA. To this day, their alleged romance is all speculation.

Helen Skelton

James and TV presenter Helen Skelton went on one date way back in 2010 as part of the Guardian's Blind Date series. After their respective date, the publication quizzed them on their experience, and more importantly, asked them whether they'd be seeing each other again.

Helen revealed in her answers that she would like to see him again because "he made [her] laugh and it was good banter." However, she also hinted that their potential romance probably wouldn't lead to anything more, as they're always in different countries. (At the time, James lived in Paris.)

After admitting they kissed, Helen jokingly added: "But he's off to Australia and I'm off to Singapore. Maybe we'll rendezvous in Terminal 5."

James also confirmed that the two hit it off to the outlet, and described Helen as a really pretty girl who was very funny. He then admitted it was one of the best dates he'd been on in terms of how much the conversation flowed.

He also agreed it probably wouldn't work due to the geography though, adding: "Obviously I'm off to Australia with England, and I live in Paris, but in terms of being a nice person, she was perfect."

Felicia Field-Hall

James was in an on/off relationship with his ex, Felicia, for four years. However, the pair had a very public row in 2009 when James accused her of cheating on him.

Following the drama, James moved to Paris where he played for Stade Francais, revealing that he wanted to focus on his career.

Chloe Madeley

As we know, James has been happily loved up with Chloe for almost 10 years now. Thanks to Chloe's Instagram, it's clear that the two are still going strong, as the 36 year old regularly posts snaps of them with their one year old daughter, Bodhi.

From wholesome and romantic holidays to general family life, Chloe even dubbed James and Bodhi as her "great loves" on social media.
