The social media star went viral after demonstrating how a piece of parchment paper can remove hard water stains from faucets without any other cleaning product.
‘Here’s something I didn’t know until I was in my 30s. Parchment paper can clean faucets,’ he explained at the start of the video.

He shared before and after photos of his faucet in the viral clip, which has been viewed more than 1.3 million times
Raz held up a roll of parchment paper before panning the camera to his sink to show what his dirty faucet looked like. The steel was cloudy and covered with hard water stains.
He crumpled the paper into a makeshift cloth and began scrubbing the faucet. His jaw dropped as the steel got shinier and shinier.
Raz then turned the camera to show the final result: a faucet that looked brand new.
‘So shiny and scary,’ he captioned the video, which has been viewed more than 1.3 million times and has received hundreds of comments.
‘Wait… just plain parchment?! Like no water or cleaners?’ one person asked.
‘I am definitely trying this,’ someone else added.
‘Lol I just used that,’ another shared. ‘Can’t believe it works. Tried around the sink [too] with no disappointment.’

Hundreds of people comments on the hack, and while some couldn’t wait to try it or were already fans, critics argued there were better ways to clean a faucet
The video also inspired a TikTok user to share another surprising use for parchment paper.
‘I’ve worked in retail over 30 years, if you rub wax paper on clothing fixtures, you can fit more clothes,’ she explained. ‘You’re Welcome.’
However, not everyone was impressed with the hack, despite the proof that it works.
Some critics were concerned the parchment paper is too abrasive and would scratch the faucet, while others felt there are more effective ways to clean a sink.
‘Just try a dry towel. It’ll do better and won’t leave scratches,’ one person wrote.
‘You get better results using coffee filters on windows or mirrors with window cleaner,’ someone else advised.
‘I love your videos but ones like this, I think even if it works, it’s not the best way to do the job,’ another added.
