Rumor has it that some new faces will be joining the upcoming season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
Actress Drew Sidora, 35, and influencer LaToya Ali, 33, will be joining the show, as confirmed by Us Weekly. This comes after news of Eva Marcille’s departure, announced in June after three seasons. While these names might not ring a bell just yet, the two are no strangers to the camera.
Chicago native Sidora comes to “RHOA” after being on well-known and popular 2000s shows “That’s So Raven,” “The Game,” “Hindsight” and TV movie “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story.” Her latest film, “Influence,” was released in February.
From the big screen to the stage, Sidora was cast as a member of the theater adaptation of 90s classic “Set it Off,” written, directed and produced by Je’Caryous Johnson in Atlanta. There, she played the same character as Jada Pinkett-Smith did in the original movie.
The mother of two sons and one daughter is married to businessman Ralph Pittman, with whom she shares her two youngest kids. The pair have been married for nearly 6 years.
Friends with “RHOA” cast member Kandi Burruss, Ali, better known as LaToya Forever on YouTube, is a Canadian influencer, with over 1.4 million subscribers on the platform. On the channel, Ali has been releasing videos for over 10 years to her followers, but lately her content is mainly based on lifestyle, fashion, funny challenges and “mommy” videos.
A mother of three also — Samia, Zayn and Ayah — LaToya used to be married to Adam Ali. The pair — who married and started a family YouTube channel in 2014 — announced their divorce in June of this year. There was some drama surrounding the separation, with both parties bringing up dirt from under the rug on their respective platforms.
Ali’s role on the show is still unclear, as reported by Love B. Scott, since it seems like her former husband does not want some things filmed. Apparently, if they don’t come to an arrangement, Ali will be a friend on the show.
Catch the potential newbies during the upcoming 13th season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” on Bravo.
