Natalie Winsor’s Pamper Woman shows viewers the importance of ensuring that you take the time to look after yourself through self-care.

That’s what Safer Gambling Week is all about.

Monday 17th October to Sunday 23rd October is Safer Gambling Week.

This is a cross-industry initiative from the Betting and Gaming Council that aims to promote safer gambling in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Natalie sat down with Sun Bingo to talk about the ways that she likes to relax and unwind, including some unusual pamper session hacks!

Natalie also explained how Covid-19 impacted the way she likes to spend her free time, and what she likes to do with cucumbers and grapefruits at parties…

Meet Natalie Winsor!

LEARN HOW TO PLAY ONLINE BINGO AND WHAT YOU CAN WIN

Natalie Winsor – Pamper Woman

Do you enjoy bingo? What’s your experience of playing?
I love bingo! I think I associate bingo with coming together with friends.

I’ve experienced bingo more in a live sense, rather than online. If we want to have fun and get together, have a few drinks, whether it be a quiz or game of bingo, that’s really fun.

In the live games, you get the traditional bingo callers, which I think is really fun.

It’s something that you don’t have to take too seriously, but it’s incredible if you do happen to win something.

You hope that your numbers come up!

Are you more of an indoors or outdoors person?
I’d say more of an indoors person. I do like a bit of both though. I think it’s seasonal for me.

In the summer, I’m more outdoors.

WANT TO PLAY BINGO FOR A PENNY? HERE'S HOW!

However, I love the winter. I like being cosy, taking time to decompress, whether it be watching something on the TV or inviting friends round.

I think that’s also come out of the Covid-19 lockdowns – doing more things at home and being reconnected to family.

That could be preparing food together, playing a quiz, bingo, the Generation Game, cards, board games… just having fun.

I definitely got into contact with that more recently. I did a lot of gaming online with friends over the lockdowns.

LEARN HOW TO PLAY FLUFFY FAVOURITES

We did the Zoom quizzes and everything like that, which is something I never really had the space or time for before.

I’ve enjoyed it! Sometimes with quizzes, I wonder if I’m going to be someone who can contribute to the team because the questions can be overwhelming.

However, nowadays, there are quizzes with all different categories, lots of fun things to do and ways for them to be inclusive of everyone.

I think that’s wonderful. If I’m performing on tour, the group tend to do more activities together, which can include outdoor events.

That can be walking, if we’re somewhere nice.

What are your pamper session hacks?
Cucumber is actually really good! I use a lot. It helps to reduce puffiness and bags under the eyes.

I’d also say that, if you don’t have time to have a massage or own a massage gun, the shower can be a good hack, if you don’t have a bath.

You get the water as hot as you can take it, and that can really help to release any tension in your body.

But, if you do have a bath, I think it’s nice to put some salts in, candles, light music and really give time to self-care and you time.

I always find that when I come out of the bath, you realise the difference in how your muscles feel and how relaxed everything is in your body.

So, I love doing that. In terms of beauty hacks, for me, if I want to do it, I love to treat myself.

I like to go and get a nice manicure or pedicure, if I’ve been working really hard.

HOW FAR CAN YOU GET IN SUN BINGO'S 90-BALL ROOMS?

I like to go and get them done by someone who really knows what they’re doing… I love to have my nails done.

It makes me feel elegant and I feel like I’m looking after myself. It makes me feel good.

Another good hack is olive oil on the cuticles! That helps to keep them really well moisturised and takes away any kind of dryness.

If you want to do something nice for your hair, I like to leave in a hair mask.

It sounds unusual, but if you don’t have a specific thing that you can wrap your hair up in, if you find a clean plastic bag, and wrap it up tight, and leave your hair in there for a long while, it really nourishes it and helps to hydrate it.

PLAY SUN BINGO'S MAGICAL SLOTS WITH £10

That’s what I find anyway. It really helps with the roots. I like doing that.

Which bingo room on Sun Bingo would your friends and family assign for you?
My friends and family would probably want me in the romance room!

I think they’d like me to meet a wonderful partner and start having children.

They’re always like “we want you to meet someone so lovely. You deserve to meet someone so wonderful”.

So, I think they’d put me there. Although, you have the Cabaret Room, and I do love to sing and dance…

I’d also prefer the Pick n Mix room, which sounds awesome!

What brings you luck?
For me, it’s about a positive mental attitude! That’s my ritual more than anything else.

I used to get paranoid about stuff, there are lots of theatre traditions.

There’s one where if you whistle in the dressing room or on stage, it’s meant to be bad luck.

HERE ARE SIX MANTRAS THAT COULD HELP YOU TO HAVE A POSITIVE MINDSET

Apparently, it might be because they used to whistle to bring the flies (a theatre’s rigging system) in.

So, if you whistle, something could potentially drop. It’s now upgraded itself to be a superstition…

If you see a robin, it’s potentially a connection to your ancestors, saying that they’re watching out for you.

So a robin is really joyful, good luck, potentially a sign of family no longer with us but still around.

WANT A SLOT RECOMMENDATION? HERE ARE FIVE!

I think nowadays, it’s about being prepared and having a good mental attitude.

I try to be like “I like the number 13… It’s okay to see one magpie”.

I’m looking bad luck in the eye!

What’s your party trick?
Oh I’m having to really think for this question… maybe making a good drink?

I make large drinks.

I put cucumber in it, I think it gives a really nice taste. Grapefruit can be really nice as well.

I think they can bring out flavour much more than lemon or lime do.

I love making drinks for everyone.
