Millionaire dad spoils newborn with £2.5m yacht and £30k wardrobe

Not every newborn baby would expect a flashy yacht and some designer clothes, unless they're Barrie Drewitt-Barlow's kid.

The 51-year-old made headlines for becoming the UK's first registered gay dad with his then-husband Tony back in 1999.

He welcomed twins Saffron and Aspen via surrogacy, followed by a son Orlando before the couple separated three years ago.

Fast forward a few years later and Barrie has a daughter named Valentina with his daughter's ex-boyfriend Scott Hutchinson.

Now the dad-of-seven, who is due to marry the 27-year-old, welcomed a little son Romeo Tarquin on August 12 via surrogate.

The couple love spoiling their children with all kinds of designer goods and even treat them to big gifts like a yacht.

Barrie told Fabulous: "We have literally bought every designer that you can imagine already.

"Burberry, Versace, Dior, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, if a designer sells baby clothes we have snapped them up.

"But it isn't just Scott and I who are spoiling Romeo.

"Before he was born our eldest daughter Saffron spent over £10,000 on clothes, the moment he was born, another £20,000."

After donating sperm with his ex-husband and Scott, the soon-to-be husbands chose Romeo's gender through sex selection.

The family didn't screen their kids at birth to see whose DNA it was, but it's Barrie and Scott on the birth certificate.

And their baby boy is already in the possession of gadgets that anyone could ever dream of.

Barrie said: "We just spent £2.5million on a yacht for Romeo and named it after him.

"We want to give him the same start in life as the other kids so we have set up a trust fund for him.

"Tony gifted him £1m and I matched it for him. We will obviously build up a nice portfolio of things for him over the next few years."

Before their son arrived, Valentina, now two, was the baby of the family.

But there's no chance of her ever becoming jealous since she's also spoilt rotten by her dads as it's "Christmas every day" for her.

"She is the ultimate daddies girl, a total princess," the dad revealed.

Barrie and Scott still live with Tony in their £6m mansion in Florida with their children.

And when it comes to trolls, Barrie doesn't care as he said: "Just be pleased for people, show love and chill out!"
