Millionaire housewife who lives in Dubai reveals dowry gifts worth $100,000 that she demanded from husband when he proposed

A woman has gone viral after sharing the eye-watering list of expensive presents she asked for a ‘dowry’ when her partner proposed.

Linda Andrade, now 24, from Los Angeles, first met her husband, Ricky, a multimillionaire business owner, at the gym when she was just 19.

Three years later, he asked for her hand in marriage.

But before they tied the knot, Linda revealed she had certain financial requirements for her future hubby to fulfil.

These included her own investment property, paying out $100,000 (£78,000) as part of a ‘dowry’, seven diamond rings, and a custom designer dress for the big day.

Despite living a life of luxury now in Dubai with her husband, Linda insisted the connection the pair share is the most valuable part of their relationship.

‘It was definitely love at first sight and we have been inseparable since the day we met,’ she said. 

‘The gifts I requested were things I could see myself using for a lifetime.’

The millionaire housewife admits that keeping on top of the latest trends can be ‘draining’.

But for the most part, she is pleased with her decision to marry someone willing to provide the millionaire stay-at-home lifestyle she desires.

She said: ‘The best part of the way I live would be the free time and life experiences I have.

‘It can get very tiring travelling and shopping all the time though.

‘But life now is better than my unmarried life before.

‘I’m living with my best friend and travelling the world.

‘We’re young and successful and it’s fun.’

Sharing several clips of her ‘dowry’ presents to TikTok, which have gained over 10 million views, she also revealed that Ricky is not allowed to stray elsewhere.

Additionally, she demands full access to his bank accounts, a ‘million dollar’ closet, monthly shopping sprees to the tune of at least $21,000, 24-karat gold-plated cars, three mansions and a bodyguard to protect her from potential thieves.

Followers on Instagram have been quick to share their amazement at the unusual list, with many saying it has made them question their own love interests.

One wrote: ‘I’m too shy and have too much anxiety to ask for all that’. 

Another added: ‘I asked my husband not to talk to other women and he couldn’t even do that’.

Another said: ‘I would be so okay with him having a second wife if I was given all those luxuries’.

Linda also asks for gifts for getting pregnant. 

She told her followers on Instagram: ‘Imagine getting pregnant for a meal and not diamonds.’

Linda has a list of things she ‘expects’ her husband to buy her for ‘when [she] becomes pregnant’ and none of them appear to be cheap. 

The first thing Linda wishes for is a new diamond ring. Linda said she wanted ‘a diamond in the colour of the gender [of her baby]’ so either a ‘pink or blue’ coloured ring.  

Linda also expects new real estate property as a gift, probably a new mansion and a ‘new investment apartment too’, she says so she can have the space. 

Linda will also need to have roses delivered to her ‘every other day’ as well as being treated to ‘spas, massages, pampering every day.’ 

She wants her husband to invest in taking her on dates ‘every night of pregnancy’ and a new Rolex watch for every trimester she is pregnant.
