A Victoria's Secret model has been crowned with having the 'most beautiful face of 2022'.

Jasmine Tookes, 31, was given the title by TC Candler and a panel of independent critics, who have been giving out the honour since 1990.

They name the top 100 'most beautiful faces' of the year.

And it seems like Jasmine was the one to turn their heads in 2022.

The US beauty, who became a model at 15, may not be a household name to everyone. However, she is big in the fashion world – boasting 6.6million fans on Instagram alone.

The accolade didn't come lightly, as Jasmine – who recently announced she was pregnant – had to battle some of the top faces in Hollywood for the title.

This includes Miss Israel and Wonder Woman actor Gal Gadot, who came in at 12th. She is known to regularly appear in the list, with last year being her 12th time.

Actress Ana de Armas, who recently played Marilyn Monroe in Blonde, also made it in to 27 for her ninth time on the list.

Singer Dua Lipa was a new entry in at 56, while Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney was also a new entry at 60th.

Harry Potter star Emma Watson was ranked at 65 in her 17th year on the list, while Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke came 83rd in her 12th year.

Ariana Grande was also in there, coming 85th on her 7th year on the list.

Actress Margot Robbie also sneaked into the list – making it to 96.

Explaining how it works, Candler wrote: "Unlike most other annual beauty rankings, the 100 Most Beautiful Faces List is not a popularity contest and it is definitely not country specific.

"It is not about the hottest or the most famous celebrity.

"Rather, the list attempts to inform and broaden public opinion, instead of reflecting it."

They added: "The list introduces new faces to countries they ordinarily would not reach.

"The Independent Critics search far and wide, listening to the many millions of suggestions submitted by the public over the past couple of decades, and they then put together a list representative of the modern ideal of worldwide beauty."

The post continued: "Aesthetic perfection is only one of the criteria. Grace, elegance, originality, daring, passion, class, poise, joy, promise, hope… they are all embodied in a beautiful face.

"We select only 100 faces out of the approximately 160,000 celebrities (which works out to less than 0.001%). It is a thankless task, as no individual will ever agree with all the choices.

"Over 50 countries are represented on the annual list. That number seems to go up every year as the public participation grows and expands. This diversity relies heavily on public suggestions from almost every corner of the globe.

"Of course, lists are always very subjective… you will disagree with some of the choices, but perhaps you will find a new favourite. We hope you enjoy the list."
