Mrs Hinch shares easy DIY Christmas gift – and it’ll cost less than £10

Christmas is just around the corner, and if you’ve left your Christmas shopping to the last minute Mrs Hinch has you covered.

The mum of two has shared a genius gift idea which can be personalised for the special someone in your life.

Even better, it will only cost you around £10 so it's perfect for a secret Santa – or anyone who is on a budget.

Influencer Sophie Hinchcliffe aka Mrs Hinch posted a video on her Instagram page showing how she turned some simple Hobbycraft letters into a touching keepsake.

Sophie started by lining each of the letters in red felt before filling them with chocolates.

She finished the gift off by wrapping it in clingfilm and even added a great final touch with a pretty bow on top.

She posted a step-by-step guide on how to make your own to her 4.6 million followers on Instagram.

She captioned the post: “DIY Personalised Sweetie Letters.

“I absolutely LOVED making these! I bought the cardboard letters from @hobbycrafthq , lined them with red felt, filled them with the best chocs, covered them with cling film and added a bow! TADAA!

She filled the post with lollipop emojis, love hearts and hands in the air too.

The wooden fillable letters cost just £5 each, and the full alphabet is available from Hobbycraft so you can choose initials or spell out whole words.

Made of plywood, the letter is a hollow shape that you can fill to match your colour scheme.

If you don’t want to fill it with chocolate, instead, choose from flowers, pom poms, decoupage, botanicals and so much more to transform the wooden design.
