Mrs Hinch’s cleaning hack keeps artificial flowers looking vibrant and dust-free

When it comes to cleaning, Mrs Hinch knows her stuff.

The influencer – whose real name is Sophie Hinchcliffe – boasts three million followers on Instagram.

Her huge fanbase regularly tunes in for her cleaning hacks.

And this week, they were pleased to hear how the Instagram star keeps her artificial flowers looking tip top.

To complete the trick, all you need is warm water and some washing up liquid.

It only takes a few minutes – and ensures false petals are as vibrant as can be.

On her Instagram stories, Mrs Hinch outlined the handy hack.

She wrote: “Artificial flowers are amazing!

“But the dust builds up on them and they can look grubby after a while!

“So this is how I clean mine…

“Mix washing up liquid and water together and create as many suds as you can. (I like this part).”

The influencer added: “I then scoop them out into warm water and off you go.

“I don’t like using washing up liquid direct onto my flowers because it may leave a colour tinge!”

After swirling the fake buds around in the sink for a few seconds, Mrs Hinch takes them out to dry.

When they’re not damp anymore, you can place them into a vase.

For a final flourish, the cleaning guru sprays them with some Zoflora to keep the false flowers smelling lovely.
