A mum shared what she looked like in Ibiza 30 years ago as her daughter jetted off to the party island this summer.

Katty Gee first went to the popular destination to let your hair down three decades ago when social media was not a thing. The stunning mum was able to let her hair down without getting a posy shot for Instagram – unlike what many youngsters do today.

As her gorgeous daughter flew off to the Balearic Islands, Katty took a moment to reminisce on her time in Ibiza back in the day. And it looked very different.

In a TikTok clip that racked up thousands of views, the mum started by showing two photos of her daughter posing on her Ibiza hotel balcony. "Your daughter's Ibiza 2023 experience vs. your 1993 experience," Katty wrote in the post.

The brunette stunner rocked a high-thigh white swimming costume that accentuated her gorgeous hourglass figure. Along with a string detail, the tanned beauty's cleavage was revealed with a cut-out feature on the swimwear. She pouted with her glossy lips, perfectly straightened hair and finished the look with some gold heels and oversized sunglasses.

Katty then revealed what she looked like in Ibiza 30 years ago in a series of snaps taken on film. And the vibe was certainly different back then. Instead of looking like she's about to walk a catwalk, the mum had no makeup on, scraped her hair back in a messy bun and grinned as she held a pool float.

Katty rocked a floral bikini set and stood barefoot in the sand as she showed her pearly whites to the camera.

"Daughter V Mammas Ibiza pics…I'm still laughing! I clearly did not give a s***, only 30 years ago," Katty explained in the caption.

The post quickly went viral with many people rushing to the comments to say the same thing.

One person commented: "My first time was 1997 Ibiza best times !!! No phones, no VIP minimum spends – the island revolved around music – not your image or social media."

Someone else shared: "This is soooo real times have changed so much."

And this user expressed: "Bet your time was far better."

However, mum Katty wasn't exactly sure about that claim. She replied: "Aw I dunno like, she’s quite the partier."
