The first thing Chantel said you should do is mix one cup of Glitz cleaning bi-carb with one third of a cup of Glitz dishwashing liquid.
You can buy one kilogram of the Glitz cleaning bi-carb from Bunnings for just $8.75, while two litres of the dishwashing liquid from the same store will set you back just $9.99.
‘Apply this onto your oven and let the mixture sit for about two hours to soften the baked-on grease,’ Chantel said.

Once this is done, you should use an Oates scraper blade ($6.99) to ‘gently remove any burnt-on mess’.
‘This scraper blade is amazing at cutting through tough grime easily and can be used on glass and tiles around the home,’ Chantel said.
Following this, the mum-of-two said you just need to wipe away any ‘excess mixture’ and ‘finish by lining your oven with a Soffrito oven liner’.
These cost $19.99 for a pack of 20.
The reason why they work is because ‘any mess drops onto the liner which is dishwasher safe to wash it easily’.
This prevents your oven from getting caked in oil, dirt and grime.
