A heartbroken girlfriend found out her boyfriend was “cheating” the night before they set off to travel around Europe.

But instead of cancelling their trip, she decided to use Post-it notes to expose him.

The lass, known online as @iknow_girl, filmed her elaborate "revenge" plot after discovering her partner of 18 months had wandering eyes.

In the clip, which has since gained more than 226,000 likes, she detailed the demise of their relationship on Post-it notes while her boyfriend unwittingly posed in front of European landmarks during their nine-week extended holiday.

Each of the multi-colour notes told the story of their romance, signed with the hashtag “I know”, before revealing he had cheated on her.

On one occasion, she had claimed her unidentified other half would "often take trips with his buddies to screw other women", as he posed in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.

In another, he was standing in front of London’s Big Ben as the note said: "He doesn’t know that I know he’s cheating on me."

In the final snap, she claimed she was “breaking up with him after this trip” as she photographed him by London Bridge.

She posted the montage on TikTok with the caption: “Went on a 9-week Europe trip with my boyfriend who has been cheating on me our whole relationship because I found out the day before and didn’t want to lose thousands of dollars in cancellation fees."

She then added in a follow-up video that she sent him the video "with a very lengthy message describing how I was breaking up with him" and that "he ended up leaving me a 30-second audio message on Snapchat apologising.”

Viewers were left stunned by her dedication to the clip, saying that it was a "power move".

One user wrote: "I could never hold that in. Good for you."

“This is epic. You’re an icon,” another added.

“God I admire your spirit in doing this, absolute power move,” a fourth wrote.

Others wondered how she managed to do it without her ex being suspicious – but she explained that she had told him the notes were detailing something sweet he’d done for her.
