DEAR DEIDRE: SINCE I told people that my teacher and babysitter abused me when I was a young boy, everyone has distanced themselves from me.
I was repeatedly raped from the age of eight to eleven, but was too scared to speak up.
I suppressed the memories.
I’m now 18, and have been self-harming and had mental health problems.
A counsellor helped me open up.
