NeNe Leakes is taking a break from love.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum, 55, revealed that she’s “taking a break” from her relationship with boyfriend Nyonisela Sioh, admitting the union is “just not working at the moment.”
“Today, we are taking a break. We’ve been taking a break,” Leakes said on Carlos King’s podcast, “Reality with the King,” “It’s … things I’m not happy with, things he’s not happy with. It’s just not working at the moment.”
“He is single so if any of the ladies out there want to holla at him, go right ahead,” she quipped.
The reality star confirmed her relationship with Sioh in December 2021.
The couple was first spotted together when he accompanied Leakes to her surprise 54th birthday party that month.
The pair’s relationship was briefly rocked by Sioh’s divorce from ex Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh, who sued Leakes over “emotional distress” and “humiliation” as she accused her of breaking up their marriage.
The court documents, obtained by Page Six at the time, alleged that Sioh and Tehmeh-Sioh “enjoyed a genuine happy marital relationship” and an “active sexual relationship” prior to his involvement with Leakes.
Leakes denied all of Tehmeh-Sioh’s allegations and shut down claims that she was a “husband stealer.”
Leakes’ romance with Sioh was her first relationship since losing her husband Gregg to colon cancer in September 2021. He was 66.
Gregg was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2018, which went into remission after he did six months of chemotherapy. Unfortunately by June, his cancer had returned.
Leakes assured fans that her late husband gave his blessing and wanted her to date and be happy with her life.
“I will love Gregg forever and ever. Grieving is hard. Even harder and depressing alone,” she told The Shade Room. “Gregg and I had a very tearful conversation before his passing. His words to me were ‘be happy, keep smiling and he who finds you has found a good one.’”
Leakes and Gregg got married in 1997, divorced in 2011 and remarried in 2013.
They shared one child together, a 24-year-old son named Brentt, and the reality star also shares son Bryson, 33, with ex Calvin Bryant.

Leakes also gave an update on Bryson following his recent arrest for felony drug possession.
“He needs rehabilitation,” she told the former Bravo producer. “He needs a lot of counseling.”
“Like many families out there, I have family members that are struggling with drugs and certain addictions. He has an addiction. He’s been struggling with it for years. He’s been in rehab for a couple of times and he still has come back out and relapsed.”
