There will only be five winners so the odds aren't great, but you could still bag a free large pizza if you're one of ten lucky runners up.
All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is share a picture or video on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #PizzaHutLoyal, and sign up to the chain's Hut Rewards app.
Pizza Hut says bolder is better when it comes to entries, encouraging fans to pose with pizza on the top of a skyscraper or to write a poem for the fast food giant.
Good news: it's free to enter as you don't need to pay to sign up to the app or buy any pizza to qualify for the contest run by Pizza Hut Delivery – the delivery arm of the chain.
If you win, you'll bizarrely receive an Oscars-style statuette of a delivery man holding a pizza – but don't worry, you'll also win several other (much better) prizes too.
What can you win?
Five winners will receive:
- One of five custom-made golden trophies (with personalised plaque)
- FREE monthly pizza deliveries for a year
- A visit to Pizza Hut HQ to sample new products first ahead of their release dates
- A second visit to prepare and cook pizzas with the Hut’s top chefs
- A goodie bag full of Pizza Hut’s very own clothing line – called Hut Swag
Ten runners up will receive:
- Ten "slices" (points) on their Hut Rewards app – worth up to £23.49 (one large pizza)
The best reward has got to be the promised free monthly delivery of pizza for the next 12 months, which is worth at least £240.
But you also get to visit Pizza Hut HQ twice: the first time to sample new products before they launch, and the second to make your own pizzas with the chain's pizza inventors.
You'll also receive a goodie bag filled with Pizza Hut branded merch from the chain's own clothing line – something that will please die-hard fans only.
The bag will include a pepperoni-covered cap and a onesie.
All is not lost if you don't win though, as ten runners up will receive ten "slices" (points to you or me) on the Hut Rewards app.
Ten slices is enough to bag you a free large pizza worth up to £23.48.
Usually, you'd have to spend £100 before earning enough points to bag a free large pizza – which isn't very generous.
That's because you only earn one slice, or point for every £10 you spend.
You can only start redeeming them after earning five points, which will get you a free classic of premium side worth up to £5.99.
Even if you don't win a prize in the competition, you can still bag a freebie just by downloading the Hut Rewards app.
When you sign up and spend at least £10 on an order, you will receive a free side dish of garlic bread worth £5.19 on your next order.
The contest isn't on for long and you have to share your photo or video before 11.59pm on Wednesday, March 6 to be in with a chance of winning – so it's worth thinking about your entry now.
Beverley D’Cruz, sales and marketing director for Pizza Hut Europe & UK, said: "We know we have a lot of loyal fans who come back time and time again to order their favourite pizzas, so we wanted to do something special to reward our own stars this awards season – our customers."
Pizza Hut isn't the only fast food chain launching a competition this week.
Subway will run a contest from Monday where customers who sign up to its loyalty scheme, Subcard, could win a year's supply of free sandwiches.
Pizza Hut Delivery has about 400 takeaway branches in the UK. You can find your nearest shop by typing in your postcode on its website.
Pizza Hut's loyalty scheme is one of the least generous around, as we have revealed.
We've put together a guide to the best fast food rewards programmes to see where you can make your money go furthest.
KFC, Greggs and GBK offer free food to customers just for signing up to their apps at the moment.
