PRIMARK has confirmed the return of a "genius" Christmas item, and it's totally free.
The discount chain has revealed to The Sun that it will be bringing back its popular wrapping paper shopping bags this festive season.
The Christmas additions have been a staple for Primark shoppers for the last few years and will be hitting stores again from next week.
The retailer's paper bags are decorated with a simple red stripe which means customers can cut out the bags when they're done and use them as wrapping paper.
A Primark spokesperson said: "We’re delighted to confirm that our iconic Primark paper bags are once again being transformed into wrapping paper this Christmas.
"The brown and red festive striped bags will start to arrive into our stores from next week, and feature handy cutting lines with easy to follow instructions for shoppers."

The spokesperson added: "As well as being easily recycled after the big day, customers can save money on purchasing extra wrapping – a win-win.”
Fans have described the handy paper bags as "genius" and "brilliant" in the past.

Others have expressed concern that the bags don't last until you get home due to their material.

Helpful shoppers suggested double bagging any hauls in order to protect the inner bag from the elements.
While another said that once your present is wrapped why not wrap it up in cling film to give it a waterproof layer.
The bags can be used in several ways, with Primark recommending creating your own crackers and even stocking designs.
All you need to do is cut off the handles and the bottom of the bag and lay the striped paper flat before arranging it how you please.
Shoppers can get their hands on the bags from next week when they land in shops, and they're completely free when you buy something in store.
You can find your nearest Primark using the handy store locator tool on the chain's website.
