Eugenie does Davos! Princess is seen filming chat about the impact of climate change in the Arctic

Princess Eugenie has spoken about about pollution and the devastating impact of climate change.
The Duke of York’s daughter, 32, was captured on camera at the World Economic Forum (known as Davos) in a video, shared on Reuters IMPACT’s Instagram page.
Dressed head-to-toe in black, the mother-of-one was seen in a behind-the scenes video as she filmed a discussion with Arctic Humanity at Risk Basecamp, a non-profit organisation to highlight the impact that climate change is having on the Arctic.
Eugenie wore a black shirt dress, with opaque tights and black ankle boots in the video.

She kept her auburn locks loosely pinned back as she discussed the small changes that the organisation have started to make in the Arctic.
Speaking with Reuters editor-at-large Axel Threlfall and researcher Gail Whiteman, Eugenie said: ‘It’s the small things, but hopefully it can move to new level work.’
In the Instagram clip, the three were seen in animated conversation about the Arctic Humanity’s upcoming project.
Regarding the progress made Eugenie said: ‘I like to be glass half full. My mum just calls it “glass full”.’

Eugenie, who is not a senior royal or carry out royal duties solo, works with many charities and talks passionately about causes close to her heart on her social media accounts.
The 32-year-old has been vocal about the fight against plastic pollution and writing for DAILY MAIL in 2019 said: ‘Like many people, I am saddened by images of wild creatures on beaches, which I have seen photographed strangled or entangled by plastic, and their lives ended by our casual use and discarding of plastic.

‘I know that so many people feel the same dislike of inadvertently harming the things that are the most precious and beautiful in the natural world.
‘I have always loved being in nature. My parents instilled in me a love of wild places and a respect for animals and the natural world.’
In 2021 Eugenie was appointed ambassador for the Blue Marine Foundation and following in the footsteps of her uncle King Charles III and cousin she co-wrote a piece for Spear’s Magazine, that year, which was been produced in partnership with the Blue Marine Foundation, with Clare Brook, CEO of the foundation.
In the article the royal commented that the ocean is ‘the best natural solution we have to climate change on the planet.’

Eugenie commended the environmental work being carried out on Ascension Island – which is a United Kingdom overseas territory that is situated 1,000 miles off the coast of Africa.
The Blue Marine Foundation and its Great British Oceans Coalition partners are aiming to protect 99.5% of the island’s waters.
More recently Eugenie has been in the headlines following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s claims about the royal family, with the princess featuring in both the explosive Netflix docu-series and Harry’s memoir Spare.
In the first episode, of the Netflix series, the royal is seen partying alongside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the night before their romance was made public in 2017.
Eugenie was reportedly among the first to know about Prince Harry’s relationship with Meghan, whom she already knew through their mutual friend Misha Nonoo.

Megan recalled: ‘Well, if it’s going to come out tomorrow, let’s go and have fun tonight!’
Harry added: ‘We went to this Halloween party together, where we could be completely dressed up and no one would know. I had a bandana and goggles on.’
Sharing photos from their night out, Meghan said: ‘His cousin Eugenie and her boyfriend of the time Jack and my friend Marcus were there too. It was so great. Just silly fun.’
