ONE eBay seller will be punching the air after fetching £210 for a rare 50p coin.
The seller sold a 50p Kew Gardens coin after receiving a whopping 45 bids.

The coins were originally released in 2009 and only 210,000 were manufactured, making them a rare beast.
It's no wonder then, that the coin attracted such a pretty price and had almost 50 bidders trying to get their hands' on it.
Previous listing of the same coin have sold for nearly £180 and one even fetched £250.

How to spot a rare coin in your spare change
They look just like any normal 50p coin, except this specific coin has the famous Kew Gardens design on the reverse, featuring the Chinese Pagoda.
If you're looking to buy one yourself, be cautious of fakes, which do crop up online.
To avoid landing yourself with a dodgy duplicate, speak to experts like Coin Hunter or The Royal Mint, who will check if your change is legitimate and worth what it is listed for.
If you have a rare coin and are thinking of selling it, look at similar completed listings to get an idea of what it might fetch.
