When it comes to creating effortless, long-lasting curls, plenty of people have been singing the praises of the Dyson Airwrap, £479.99 here, for years for making it easier to create natural looking waves in their hair.
However, coming in at almost £500 means it’s not exactly budget-friendly, so since its release there have been plenty of styling tools that have popped up as a more affordable alternative.
Although plenty of these other options have worked a treat, including the Shark FlexStyle Build Your Own Air Styling & Hair Drying System, £269.99 here, few have come close to the Airwrap’s design and results whilst still being ultra-affordable. However, it seems Amazon shoppers have found a budget-friendly styler that not only gives Dyson a run for its money – they actually prefer it.
The SevenPanda Wireless Automatic Curling Iron £29.99 here (was £39.99), has racked up almost 4000 5 star reviews on Amazon, with shoppers claiming they’ve ditched their Dyson Airwrap for it.
With six different timing settings and six different temperatures to choose from between 150℃ and 200℃, you can create the exact style of curls you want, from tight ringlets to loose waves.
Its cordless design makes it easy to use without getting tangled around yourself and means you can easily pop it in your bag or suitcase to use on the go if your hair needs a little freshen up, with up to 60 minutes battery usage at a time.
One thing that made the Dyson Airwrap so popular is that it does most of the hard work for you by automatically coiling your hair into place and heating it thoroughly to ensure you get even, secure curls every time.
However, the SevenPanda Wireless Automatic Curling Iron £29.99 here (was £39.99), works in a very similar way, automatically curling your locks into the heated tourmaline ceramic where it’s held in place according to your heat and timing settings so you don’t need to worry about accidentally overheating your hair.
Amazon shoppers can’t quite believe how well the curler works, with one saying: “So I don't need a Dyson for now!”
A second said: “We have nearly every product made to curl including the Dyson Air wrap (which was my biggest disappointment ever) and this is by far, the best.” whilst another wrote: “Never been able to curl my own hair before even with the £400 Dyson Airwrap”
Others also mentioned they’d even sent their Airwrap back, with one review saying: “I had a Dyson air wrap and sent that back as the curls were not as effective.”
You can still snap up the SevenPanda Wireless Automatic Curling Iron £29.99 here (was £39.99), whilst it’s on sale and save yourself £10 over on Amazon now.
