Taylor Swift has announced more tickets for her Melbourne and Sydney shows, as well as a date for the hotly anticipated resale of unwanted seats.
Swift’s tour sold out in June, breaking an Australian record as more than 4 million fans tried to buy tickets in the second presale.

Ticketek’s website now lists a date of Friday, November 24 for the resale platform to open, after the original resale was delayed in September.
“Ticketek Marketplace will open for the listing and resale of tickets from 10am AEDT on Friday 24 November 2023,” information on the site now states.
Australian fans will also now have another opportunity to secure tickets in Melbourne and Sydney tomorrow.
Due to demand, additional tickets, including partially obstructed side-view tickets, will be released. Prices will start from $79.90, Frontier Touring has announced.
On this platform, tickets cannot be sold for more than 10 per cent above the original cost.
Further details, including how many tickets would be on sale and whether the system for purchasing will be the same as it was in June, were not yet clear.
The Victorian state government has declared Swift’s upcoming tour a major event, bringing the two concerts planned for the MCG next February under the umbrella of anti-scalping legislation.
In NSW, resale restrictions on tickets for the star’s Sydney dates are supposed to confer similar anti-scalping protection automatically.
Swift’s concert film took $3.8 million in its opening weekend in Australia last month.
Swift performs in Melbourne on February 16 and 17, then Sydney on February 23, 24 and 25.
More to come.
