The game certainly pulled on heart strings for Taylor as she was pictured jumping up and screaming after Travis got pushed – however, her boyfriend ultimately left with a win.
And while it may have been all smiles at the end of the game, the beginning appeared challenging for Taylor.
Since attending her first NFL game in September, the singer has been at odds with sports fans – with many of them considering her a distraction.
NFL even faced fierce backlash when they changed their Twitter banner to a series of shots of the popstar.
On Sunday’s game, Gillette Stadium showed Taylor on the big screen and fans immediately showed their dislike for the singer.
After being met with an onslaught of boos, Taylor turned to Brittany and shrugged.
According to BuzzFeed, the singer said: ‘I knew this was coming.’
Fans then flooded social media to slam the sports enthusiasts for hating on the Bad Blood hitmaker.

One fan even said she was met with hate after wearing Taylor merch at the game
One person said: ‘Taylor being booed at the Chiefs game tonight is so ridiculous… people need to relearn how to be decent human beings.’
Someone else added: ‘I just know if Taylor finds out some of her fans were booed out of their section at the Chiefs/Pats game today simply for being fans of her she would throw a fit omfg.’
Another user explained that she was even booed for wearing Taylor merch while attending the game.
She said: ‘Bad experience. Gillette has always been my home base and my favorite stadium as a born and raised Massachusetts girl but tonight at the game, I was harassed and audibly booed for being a fan of the opposing team and wearing a jacket with my lifelong idol on it.
‘This experience was extremely stressful and continued to escalate as the night went on. I was a very peaceful fan cheering for my team in the seat and clothes I paid for. I deserved to be there and I deserved to feel safe doing so.’
However, another user said that fans shouldn’t take the response to the singer’s face on the big screen personally.
‘Look, I love Taylor but her fans need to relax over her getting booed. She was representing the opposing team. Sports fans boo their rivals and those supporting them. It’s not personal,’ they added.

Taylor was previously booed while attending a game at MetLife Stadium to cheer on her boyfriend.
The singer was most recently named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year and spoke about her relationship with the NFL player and his fans in an interview to mark the occasion.
She said: ‘I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in. There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.
‘I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.’
