“Payback” is hitched!

“Top Gun: Maverick” star Jay Ellis, 40, and model Nina Senicar tied the knot on July 9 in Tuscany, Italy.

Family and friends watched as the couple said “I do” on Villa Mangiacane, a stunning estate surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, located in the small town of San Casciano, according to Vogue.

Among those present were Ellis’ “Top Gun: Maverick” co-stars Greg Tarzan Davis and Glen Powell, as well as his “Insecure” castmate Issa Rae.

Senicar, 36, stunned in a custom Dolce & Gabbana off-white, silk gown, according to the outlet, who posted photos on Monday.

The Serbian actress adorned the gown with a pair of diamond earrings from her best friend and a ring from her late grandmother, telling Vogue, “It was like having her with me.”

Ellis wore a custom dark red Dolce & Gabbana tux paired with velvet red shoes.

After the groom made his entrance followed by both bridal parties, the couple’s 2-year-old daughter, Nora, walked down the aisle as the flower girl. Before his bride made her way down the aisle, the “Insecure” star revealed to the outlet that he felt a surge of panic.

“There was a moment when I was standing there in front of everyone waiting for the giant wrought iron gates to open and to see Nina but the moment kept going and going,” the father of one told Vogue.

“So I yelled out ‘Baby, you coming?’ There was another beat or two after where Nina didn’t answer, so I turned to the crowd and said ‘I guess that’s a no, there’s a space up here if anybody wants to get married today,’” he joked.

“And in perfect timing as everyone laughed Nina yelled out, ‘I’m coming baby!’ Everyone laughed at us and then the gate opened and I was in awe when I saw Nina in her dress for the first time.”

The lavish wedding came two years after the couple’s original wedding date, which was pushed back twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“At the time, Italy was one of the hardest hit areas in the world, on a strict lockdown and closed to tourists,” Ellis explained. “Like everyone else in the world, we weren’t sure how widespread it would be or how long any of it would last, so we had to cancel everything.”

The newlyweds — who met in 2015 at a bar in Los Angeles and got engaged in 2019 — chose to keep their big day abroad as an homage to their first trip together – even if that meant lots of additional planning.

The couple sent their guests Italy’s updated COVID-19 protocols “every few months,” did most of their planning on Zoom and only had 72 hours to travel to Italy to “taste food, see flowers, linens, cutlery, plates and glassware in person.”

After a long and wild ride, Ellis noted that he’s glad the planning is over and he can move on to enjoy life as a married man.

“It was amazing. After everything that everyone has been through over the last few years to bring over 190 people together for three days in Tuscany and celebrate was surreal,” he said.

“Seeing all of our friends from different parts of our lives together smiling and laughing, connecting, forming their own friendships was such a huge part of what we wanted out of the weekend and the celebration. We wanted to create moments and memories that would last the rest of our lives.”
