A woman has opened up to talk about the struggle of having big boobs and how her bra left her a scar on the skin.

Jennifer Warnes said she had the problem when wearing an underwired bra and the wire broke through the fabric, cutting her skin.

She shared it on TikTok: "This used to happen to me all the time, to the point where I even have a scar on one of my boobs where the wire would just poke it constantly and it cut the skin.

"So I did some research to find out why this happens and came up with two solutions.

"First when you're wearing a band size that is too big it moves around a lot on your body, that causes a lot of friction and it's gonna wear down a lot quicker, causing the wire to poke out.

And the second reason is now the after-use care of the bra.

"You're supposed to hand-wash your bras, I don't know who has the time to do that, I certainly don't.

"Instead what I do is put them on a cold, delicate cycle to wash them.

"When they come out just hang them over a rack to dry them instead of putting them in the dryer to help them last a little bit longer."

Some viewers loved the tips, with one saying: "This used to happen to me all the time before I was wearing the right band size!"

"How you put the bra on can also cause the bra to wear out and contribute to the underwire stabbing out," another said.
