Zach Wilson’s girlfriend Abbey Gile already sporting Jets gear at draft

Green appears to be Abbey Gile‘s new favorite color.

Moments after boyfriend Zach Wilson was selected by the New York Jets with the second overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft on Thursday, the Utah Valley University student sported a Jets cap on social media.

“JET UP BABYYY,” Gile captioned one photo on her Instagram story.

In a separate post, Gile — who has been linked to 21-year-old Wilson since high school — shared a snap as she and the quarterback’s mom, Lisa Wilson, held up his Jets jersey.

“Couldn’t have done it without his mama,” Gile gushed.

In the days leading up to the draft, Gile posted a cozy photo with Wilson, who played college football at Bringham Young University.

“My love,” she posted to Instagram Sunday.

Wilson, who has been documenting his draft day happenings on social media, will usher in a new era in New York following the departure of Sam Darnold. The Jets traded the former first-round pick to the Carolina Panthers earlier this month after three seasons in the Big Apple.

“I’m going to give it everything I have,” Wilson said on NFL Network. “There’s not another team I’d want to play for besides the Jets. We’re going to be a special team. We’re going for the Super Bowl.”
