If you’re currently chatting to someone through a dating app , there’s a fairly high chance they’ve been messaging you while sat on the toilet.
A new study has revealed that a quarter of Brits enjoy swiping while on the loo.
Researchers from dating app Once collaborated with YouGov on the study, which looked at what people really think about dating apps.
Over two thousands British adults were surveyed, and the results revealed that 30 per cent of men like to swipe while on the toilet, while 18 per cent of women do the same.
Aside from the toilet, Brits seem to enjoy using dating apps in a variety of strange locations.
Other odd choices included work meetings, at the gym, and even at weddings!
Jean Meyer, CEO at Once, said: “The highly-invasive swiping culture makes us extremely picky and impossibly hard to impress.
“We’re spending too much time on dating apps, and not enough of that time is spent carefully considering a potential match’s profile.
“Ten seconds is simply not enough time to make an important judgment on someone who might become the love of your life and your potential partner.”
