You can now get AI-controlled sunglasses.
Lucyd Lyte XL are smart specs that connect to your mobile phone.
You can then use the built-in voice assistant to ask artificial intelligence bots to do things for you over tiny speakers in the glasses.
So while you’re on your holidays, with a couple of taps to the hidden buttons on your eyewear, you can ask AI to come up with, say, five things to do in the local area.
Or even help you to translate a phrase or two to order those much-needed beers in the native language.
It’s all the brainchild of UK intellectual property investment group Tekcapital.

The firm’s Lucyd brand aims to revolutionise smart tech eyewear and already allows folk to listen to their favourite music thanks to the little speakers in the arms of the specs.
But with ChatGPT now embedded in the app too, you can get clever robots to do your bidding too.
The app is device agnostic and works with AirPods too for a more private conversation.
