Amazon executives will take to the stage to reveal a range of new products at its Seattle headquarters this evening, with all-new Amazon Echo smart speakers, Fire TV streaming set-top boxes, Smart TVs, and more expected to be announced. Amazon usually holds a single event to unveil its new hardware ahead of the Christmas shopping rush.

In previous years, we’ve seen Alexa-powered microwaves, all-new designs for the best-selling Amazon Echo, new Echoes with touchscreen displays and other tricks, as well as new Fire TV set-top boxes. Aside from shiny new gadgets, Amazon has used its keynote presentation to talk about upgrades to its subscription services, like Prime Video, Amazon Luna, and Amazon Music in past years.

The next blockbuster event from the online shopping supremo starts tonight, September 28, 2021.

Unfortunately, when it comes to snuffing out rumours, Amazon is giving Apple a run for its money this time around. There hasn’t been any juicy details about the upcoming announcements – so we have no idea what to expect from the event. In fact, the only thing we do know is that you shouldn’t be adding a new Amazon Echo or Fire TV to your shopping basket until the curtain has fallen on the event tonight. That’s because you could miss out on exciting new hardware or features coming to the next-generation version of the same gadget.
