If you missed its blockbuster event earlier this month, Apple has revealed two brand-new iPad models. First up, the iPad mini received a complete makeover – its first major design since its initial launch back in March 2012. The new tablet now boasts the same all-screen design as the latest generation iPad Air, with the Home Button resigned to the scrap heap and the Touch ID fingerprint sensor tucked away in the lock button. A speedier A15 Bionic processor is tucked inside to keep multiple apps running side-by-side without a stutter.
The entry-level iPad didn’t enjoy a makeover. But while the outside looks identical to last year, Apple has doubled the amount of storage included with the most affordable model. It also added Centre Stage for video calls, which lets the camera automatically track you as you move about the room – so you’re always in frame when chatting to friends and relatives. But perhaps best of all, Apple has dropped the price from £329 on the previous model, down to £319.
Whether you’re looking to buy the new iPad models outright, or make sure you can work, stream and play games anywhere with a 5G SIM card tucked inside, Express.co.uk has scoured around for the ultimate prices and deals. Here are the best deals available right now…
O2 – 10GB of 5G Data
This monthly plan from O2 strikes a great balance of mobile data and price. For less than the cost of Vodafone’s monthly plan, you’ll get more mobile data to stream video, check emails, and answer video calls away from your home Wi-Fi networks. O2 will also throw-in 6 months of free Disney+ subscription and 6 months of free Apple Music subscription to use on your shiny new iPad mini.

Sky Mobile – 100MB
If you’re looking for the most affordable plan from Sky Mobile, this iPad mini deal with a minuscule 100MB allowance is the one to pick. Although 100MB will only allow you to open a few emails before you deplete your monthly allowance… there is a catch. Sky’s own apps, like Sky Go, Sky Sports, and Sky News, don’t count towards your allowance – so you can stream recordings from your Sky box, and watch live telly on the go on your commute without ever eating into your 100MB allowance.

Vodafone – 6GB of 5G Data
Vodafone is offering a pretty competitive price for its iPad mini plan, which ships with 6GB of superfast 5G data. That should be more than enough to check your emails, stream tracks on Spotify, and browse the web when you’re away from a Wi-Fi connection.

EE – Unlimited 5G Data
If you want the ultimate plan to make the most of your all-new iPad mini, this is it. EE is not only dishing out unlimited downloads at superfast 5G speeds, but you’ll also get one of its Smart Benefits. These perks can be swapped every month and include bonuses like the ability to stream Netflix without using any data, free data roaming around the globe, and a free subscription to BritBox.
