BT broadband customers get cheaper prices and big free gift but these offers end tomorrow

BT is giving customers the chance to grab some cheaper broadband prices and get a free Amazon gift thrown in as well.

The offers, which are available via BT’s website, include reductions to its Superfast Fibre Essential, and Superfast Fibre bundles.

This means you can get the web beamed into your home for as little as £27.99 per month and that’s not all as both of the packages include Amazon Prime for a whole year.

Along with Prime bringing next day delivery on all of your purchases, there’s also the option to enjoy thousands of movies and TV shows plus two million songs to stream ad-free.

Here’s the deals, what they include and how much they cost.

• BT Superfast Fibre Essential – £27.99 per month – was £29.99

Includes average speeds of 35Mbps plus BT’s Stay Fast Guarantee no broadband price rises in 2019

This deal also includes that free subscription to Amazon Prime – worth £79

• BT Superfast Fibre bundle – £32.99 per month – was £35.99

-Includes average speeds of between 36Mbps and 50Mbps plus you get that Stay Fast Guarantee and the promise of zero 2019 price increases

This offer also includes the free Amazon Prime subscription plus you’ll get a £30 reward card which can be spent in any retailers who accept Mastercard.

These BT deals are clearly enticing but there is another option that could drop your monthly bill even further.

The Post Office has just slashed its broadband prices with customers able to join for just £15.90 per month.

There’s also no upfront fee to pay and the downloads are fully unlimited.

That low cost does mean the speeds aren’t that fast with this basic package bringing downloads of 11Mbps to your home.

If that doesn’t sound fast enough then there are two more options from the Post Office.

Pay £22.90 (usually £37) and you’ll get 38Mbps broadband or go for £28.90 per month (usually £42) and you’ll get 67Mbps beamed into your living room.

To help you decided which speeds are best for you here’s how long it takes to download a full HD movie using the different download options:

Download an average full HD movie at 11Mbps – 50 minutes

Download an average full HD movie at 38 Mbps – 15 minutes

Download an average full HD movie at 67 Mbps – 9 minutes

Download an average full HD movie at 100Mbps – 5 minutes
