After months of pent-up excitement, Windows 11 is finally here – with Microsoft debuting the next-generation upgrade today. It’s the biggest update to the popular Windows operating system in years and includes a tonne of great new features – such as a redesigned Start Menu, totally revamped visuals, improvements to the update system, integrated Microsoft Teams functionality and much, much more.

Windows 11 will be available on new laptops sold from today and will also roll-out as a free upgrade to those with a legitimate copy of Windows 10. However, there are a number of factors that could mean you need to wait a little longer than you’d like to access Windows 11. As with other major patches, Microsoft are adopting a phased rollout for Windows 11 – so it may be some time before the update is ready to wing its way to your PC.
