Chief Twit Elon Musk has announced an upcoming "painful" change to Twitter that will see a change to verification badges used on the social media app.
Changes have been thick, fast and not entirely good for the social media app, with a number of users threatening to switch over to alternative apps.
Those threats come in the wake of a takeover that has seen Tesla and SpaceX CEO Musk make a number of quick changes, u-turns and controversial decisions.

Not least is the issue of verification badges, which now appear to be set for a change of colour in a "painful" update to the site, Musk has warned.
Taking to Twitter after a week of delays to the Twitter Blue subscription service, that sees ordinary users able to pay for a blue check verification identical to that of actual government officials, Musk has released an update.
A thread of replies saw Musk again mock someone concerned for their safety on the app with a reply of: "Interesting… now pay $8."
Replying to Musk's tweet, one user named Crypto King wrote: "Elon, I’m trying. It won’t let me and I’m Verified (need to edit 1 character I can't spell)."
In reply to the so-called Crypto King, Elon warned that changes will come to the app very soon.

Musk wrote: "Sorry for the delay, we’re tentatively launching Verified on Friday next week.
"Gold check for companies, grey check for government, blue for individuals (celebrity or not) and all verified accounts will be manually authenticated before check activates.
"Painful, but necessary."
Worries over authenticity prompted Musk to reiterate that "deliberate impersonation/deception will result in account suspension" and also stated that "individual humans will have same blue check".
The SpaceX, Tesla and Twitter CEO promised a "longer explanation" at an undetermined date next week.
