Elon Musk to unleash ‘cat girl’ Tesla sex robots on the world next week

Elon Musk could be about to give us a terrifying glimpse into the future next week, as he unveils a prototype robot he wants to put in millions of homes around the world.

Next Friday, Musk will reveal a prototype Optimus android for the first time at a Tesla AI Day event.

His company wants to eventually produce thousands of these humanoid robots and use them to take over jobs in Tesla car factories.

Musk has previously said he wants the robots to eventually be used in homes to make dinner, mow the lawn, care for the elderly, and even become a 'buddy' or 'catgirl' sex partner.

However, the Optimus Tesla Bot has previously been met with widespread scepticism, namely when a human dressed in a robot suit was revealed as the robot in last year's AI Day event.

While Musk believes the robot business could be worth more than the cars produced by Tesla, robotics experts have said that the Optimus robot will have to do something really impressive to change public perceptions about androids.

Nancy Cooke, a professor at Arizona State University, told Reuters that the robot will have to perform 'multiple, unscripted actions' to really impress people.

She said: "If he just gets the robot to walk around, or he gets the robots to dance, that's already been done. That's not that impressive."

Doubts about the Optimus robot are compounded by the fact that Elon Musk has a track record of overpromising and under-delivering.

He has insisted that Tesla cars will have safe, full self-driving functionality 'next year' since 2014, but they still don't.

Musk has also promised to build Hyperloop technology which could whizz people across great distances much faster than a bullet train. So far, he has built a few tunnels underneath cities like Las Vegas.

Despite all this, Musk reportedly wants to produce millions of Tesla bots in the end, and unleash them on the whole world. We'll believe it when we see it.
