Anyone after a tech bargain might be tempted by the latest offer from Samsung. The Korean technology giant is currently giving smartphone fans the chance to buy its massively popular Galaxy Z Flip 4 for £100 less than the usual asking price. That means you can pop one of these bendy devices in your online shopping basket and pay just £899 which is one of its lowest ever prices. They’re also the option to reduce that cost even further thanks to Samsung’s trade-in deals which let you hand over your ageing smartphone for money off something new.
For a limited time, get a £100 discount guaranteed plus extra off when you trade-in any phone during the checkout process in the Samsung store. And that’s not all, Samsung will also bundle a free subscription to Disney+
These are good savings that make the Z Flip 4 feel a little more affordable. However, before you rush to tap the buy button it is worth knowing that something much better will almost certainly launch next week.
Samsung has confirmed that it will be holding one of its famous Unpacked events at its HQ in South Korea and it appears the launch will be all about the firm’s range of Flip and Fold devices.
The invite to Unpacked even shows an image of a folding phone with the words “Join the Flip Side.”
In post on its website, Samsung also added, “A new cultural driver is coming. Come along on our journey to discover an all-new Galaxy as we showcase our latest technologies designed to open possibilities and transform lives. It’s going to make you want to ‘Join the flip side.'”
Although no details have yet been confirmed, some leaked images have revealed what the new Flip 5 will look like and seems owners are in for a treat with this device getting a much larger cover display which takes up almost the entire front of the phone.
If true, it will make this screen far more user friendly and should offer easily enough room to reply to messages, take phots and play games.
Of course, this upgrade will almost certainly be more expensive than the discounted Z Flip4 so it’s a choice of whether you want some better features or a phone that’s a little older but lands in your pocket at a more affordable price.
