The South Korean tech giant has announced that it has teamed up with one of the leading VPN providers – PureVPN – to make Wi-Fi hotspots more secure. The partnership between Samsung and PureVPN has helped strengthen the Secure Wi-Fi feature on Galaxy smartphones, which since 2017 has helped make browsing the internet when connected to an unsecured, public Wi-Fi network safer. And now a further layer of privacy will be added that helps mask users’ identity and their traffic when hooked up to a Wi-Fi hotspot.
