Santa has now officially begun his journey across the world filling stockings full of presents and Christmas cheer. Now, thanks to the wonders of modern technology, it’s possible to track his every move and see just how long it will be before he lands his reindeer and sleigh on the roof of your home. This year are numerous ways to see his festive route with trackers available on smartphones, laptops and even your TV. So, if you can’t wait for Santa to drop through your chimney here are the best ways to watch him on his way.

Google Santa tracker

Google has a fun-filled tracker which not only shows where Santa is but also features games, puzzles, quizzes and digital colouring books. Whizz through the website and you’ll find titles such as Build & Bolt, Present Bounce and Snowball Storm.

You can also take a selfie with Santa and build your own Elf plus there are some festive films to get you in the Christmas mood. Along with watching how many pressies he has delivered there’s also a countdown clock to the big day itself.

The Google tracker can be found here and it’s all completely free to use. Enjoy!

Just so we can all watch Santa on his sleigh the very nice people at NORAD, (that’s the North American Aerospace Defence Command), hand over their state-of-the-art satellites to offer a bit of Christmas help.

NORAD Tracks Santa has been in operation for over 60 years and is still one of the most popular ways of watching the reindeers whizz around the globe. Once download, the Norad app can log in and get a precise GPS location of Santa’s progress and show you exactly where the jolly fellow is.

And don’t panic if you haven’t got the latest smartphone or tablet as you can also watch all the action via the Norad Santa Tracker website. Both the app and website are packed full of games, videos and activities which should help to stop the kids asking, “how much longer ’til Christmas day?”

Sky has joined the Santa tracking party again this year with Sky Q and Sky Glass customers able to see exactly what’s going on via their TVs.

To find where the bearded deliveryman is right now and who is next on the list to receive their gifts all you need to do is say “Where’s Santa?” or “Where’s Father Christmas?” into your Sky Q voice remote and the tracker app will launch to give you and your family an exciting sneak peek into Saint Nick’s route around the world this year.
