For the fast-footed among us, there's nothing more frustrating than being stuck behind a slow walker.
While some slow walkers have taken to using e-scooters and longboards, many continue to blight city streets with their glacially slow pace.
One American startup is seeking to change all of that with Moonwalkers, a new pair of shoes that enable the wearer to stroll through town at terrifying leg speeds.

Resembling a pair of open-toed sandals with wheels on them, Moonwalkers are AI-powered shoes which creators claim can help you walk at the speed of a run.
Shift Robotics, the company behind the speedy footwear, has had huge success with its Kickstarter for the shoes, raising more than £150,000 in donations and smashing its £77,000 goal.
The Moonwalkers can be fitted to any shoe and use artificial intelligence to make your walking faster. The wheels only turn when you do and automatically adjust to downhill paths, to stop you from falling over.
They're also hands-free, meaning you can walk your dog or carry shopping without the need for a remote or a handle.

Shift Robotics claim that the Moonwalkers, which resemble Heelies, are as easy to use as walking. The company states: "To walk faster, you just walk faster. To slow down, walk slower. To stop, well, you stop walking."
People who donate to the Moonwalker crowdfunder will receive a pair of the shoes when they release, as well as a carrying bag and charger.
