Elon Musk has taken a kicking as Twitter users are experiencing issues with social media platform that's now called X.
Downdetector, which tracks online outages, shows thousands of people have reported issues with the platform's app and website – which are both, erm, doing totally fine since the Tesla tycoon's $44billion (£33.6b) takeover last Autumn…
Some users have been managing to log on – and they're hammering Musk with loads of meme showing him, among other things, trying to the reconnect wires on his multi-billion dollar vanity project.

People lucky enough to log on are also laughing as everyone is saying "Twitter is down", when he'd of course want you to call it X. Hilariously, #TwitterDown is currently trending, adding insult to injury for Musk.
Almost 4,000 outage reports had been made to Downdetector as of 6am – when early risers would have been logging on to check the news. People who still managed to make it on reported finding their timeline completely empty, apart from a single message that reads: "Welcome to X!"
Musk has made a number of controversial changes to Twitter since taking over (although updating this server rooms doesn't appear to be one following this morning's news).
As well as changing the name and axing Twitter's iconic bird logo, Musk altered how verification works entirely. People now pay for premium and a blue tick.
There was also the post limit fiasco when Musk temporarily limited the amount of posts people could see in one day, eventually rendering the app useless until the limit refreshed. That was scrapped.
